The whole world got terrified after little Jung-in's death news came out in front of the world. The case came to light when a well known news channel covered the case in detail. Whole South Korea was shocked after watching this news. The case even got more popular when BTS and other celebrities talk about it. The social media were bursting with the hashtag (#) Sorry Jungin. Massive number of people came out to protest against the culprit. They demand for the hardest punishment or if possible, then Capital punishment for the murderer. So let's get into the real story of today.

In June 2019 a woman gave birth to a baby girl " Jungin". She was a really healthy baby at the time of birth. She was a 7.9 pound weight. But for some personal problems she could not take the responsibility of the baby. So she put her for adoption. And soon foster care center started looking for the perfect parents. Couple of people applied for the adoption, but one of those couples caught their attention. Because for so many reasons. First, they were so friendly soft spoken, second really interested in adopting, third they had their own biological daughter. So the foster care center authorities thought it would be better for baby Jungin to live with them as they have their own daughter so they must have parenting experience. So finally the couple adopted baby Jungin when she was two (2) months old.
THE DAY OF JUNGIN'S DEATH:-
Now cut to the day, which shook the whole country. On 13th October 2020 Jang rushed to the hospital and said, " My daughter has fallen from something and now I don't know what to do". The doctor immediately started her treatment. They realized that she was in cardiac arrest. Her stomach was filled with 80% blood and her pancreas had ruptured. She was rotting from inside. They also found out she had multiple fractured bones. Some fractures were old and healing itself at that time. Some features were new. Which gives a confirmation that she had gone through severe amount of abuses physically. After some time she passed away unfortunately. So they inquired the mother what actually happened with the baby. She said that baby Jungin just fell from the couch. They knew she was lying. So they reported to the police immediately and sure enough the police arrested the woman (Jang).
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER ADOPTION: -
After adoption the woman started showing her true self. The family used to go dinner outside, leaving baby Jungin alone in the car. A lot of people have seen this. The day care center takes a big role in this story. The daycare center teachers are the witness of the whole day by day torture process. In March 2020 the teacher saw a big sized bruise on Jungin's forehead. So they called the parents to check. The parents told that Jungin just tripped and got the bruise. So they took a picture of the bruise and maintained their record. After two (2) weeks again Jungin came with a huge bruise covering her one whole cheek. They got really shocked and again called the mother. The mother said that she fell on the ground and hit her cheek, that is why she got the bruise. This time they didn't believe her so they took a picture and reported the police. But the police didn't file any charges against the parents. The police even said that they can't do anything if there is no open wound or any fractured bone. So the day care center had no way to protect the baby. After few weeks later baby Jungin came and this time her both the thighs were black and blue, filled with bruises so again the teachers contacted the parents and the mother said that Jungin's father was giving massage in the bath and that is why she got bruises. The day care center teachers again reported to the police, but the police didn't do anything. So again they just clicked a picture of the bruise and put on their record.
After that baby Jungin didn't came to the day care center for months. The teachers got really worried, but couldn't do anything. After a few months the baby Jungin came and this time they got really alarmed. She had lost around 2.5 pounds weight which is very abnormal in infants. She had bruises all over her body. So they took pictures and added in their record. They also took her to the hospital to identify what was happening with her. The doctor even got shocked by her situation. The doctor herself reported to the police and advised to take the baby away from the adopted parents. But police didn't do that and return the baby to the parents. The parents got to know everything and they complaint in the day care, accusing misuse of the situation. So then on the day care center really could not interfere in anything. The day before Jungin's death, the day care center teachers noticed some strange changes in Jungin 's behavior. She was not playing, not eating, not drinking anything. She was just silent with no emotions on her face. The day care center published the cctv camera footage where you can clearly see baby Jungin's situation. The day care center teacher tried to feed her but see didn't eat. She then brought some milk and Jungin just took one or two sip. Because she was so dehydrated. The day care center teacher even tried to stand her but Jungin started shaking. The teacher got so scared and started cuddling her. She ever tried to see if she had any new bruise on her body and there she saw baby Jungin's stomach. Her stomach was so swollen and round. The teacher got so alarmed. She even showed other teachers her condition. One neighbor also saw how Jang was treating Jungin. She also mentioned that once she saw baby Jungin alone in a locked room without any adult supervision. So she reported police but police didn't really do anything.

OUT BREAK: -
A lot of South Korean and other countries celebrities are demanding justice for baby Jungin. Massive numbers of protesters are demanding right justice for the baby. They are also demanding changes in the law of protection against small children and abuse. Protesters are protesting in front of the court during trial. They demand the hardest punishment which is Capital punishment.
THE TRIAL: -
In the trial Jang denied any abuse from her side. But later accepted that she was angry on the baby. Because she was a picky eater and always throws tantrum while eating. So she got really mad and started shaking her in the air. Still denied any abuse. When prosecutor got little harsh then she accepted that she hit her on her stomach and back.
One news channel tried to show the people how much force she must had used on that little baby by doing that on a fake human (kind of a doll). And you will gonna shock how forceful fist the anchor gave to reach the amount of force that woman had put on that small little baby.
According to the doctors , she though was rotating from inside still they could have save her life if she would have brought earlier. The fist on the stomach made her condition the worst. And she passed away later. They also claim that the mother must have put her against the wall and then hit her on the stomach which also caused fractures of bones.
HAS THE FATHER NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CRIME?:-
Well, it does look like though. The prosecutor claims that the father is innocent. He has nothing to do with the abuses. But the whole world has one question lingering in their mind, how is it possible? If you are staying with both the abuser and abused everyday ,how could you never see the abuses? Most of the bruises were outside. Jungin was a 16 months baby so you must had seen her bruises, her sudden weight drop, her emotions less face. How did you ignore those? His claims are so suspicious.
The baby Jungin is not here with us because of some monsters. Let's hope that her soul rests in peace. I hope she gets justice.
